Default updating BIOS>.................


hi every1

i wanted to update my BIOS from the update given on the mobo's websit.. but its in ROM format.. so what should i do to install the update.. its a major update therefore i need it to be done.. waitn 4 ur answers.. cya

Put that file in a fresh floppy disk then insert it FDD now restart ur PC and press keep pressing DEL or F1(BIOS key) now look for Flash BIOS option and then BIOS will do the remaing task for u. Remember Improper flashing of BIOS may cause ur MotherBoard to be damaged so do this on ur own risk or look for some official tool for BIOS flasing from Mercury

All BIOS updates come in ROM format, just look into the mobo CD and u should get a utility to update ur BIOS.
Just run the utility and tell the path of the d/l ed ROM file

i hav lost my cd dude.. its mercury mobo.. so cud u plzz suggest ne such software....
