File dissapearing

Last week i had burned a dic image to my HDD but to my surprise yesterday i found that it had vanished and some html files have poped out but there's no change in the free disk space where has my space and more importantly my image vanished?

cant say with so little imformation... would suggest make sure no Virus of Spyware is there on ur system... make sure u have a upto date windows installation..

also get Hijackthis tool... run a scan and post the log file here....
