DIGIT DVD - JAN 05 . PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 4 DEMO VER2

Am using WinXP SP1 with Liteon 16X DVD ROM.
Just cannot install Pro Evolution Soccer4Demo Ver2.
After the whole thing is over I get a message "INSTALL SHIELD - 1628 Failed to complete installation." The Install Shield remains on the Taskbar.
Is the DVD faulty or DVD Rom ?
Any suggestions please ?

the game installed here smoothly
and even played the game a couple of times

I copied the .exe file on my HDD and tried to run it.
I believe the problem is with my Liteon DVD Drive as during installation it gives message "ERROR 1335. The cabinet file Data1Cab required for the installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate internet error, or reading from CD-ROM or a problem with the package."

Have just handed over the same to the dealer from whom I got it. It is under warranty.

Shall get in back within a day or two.

Got a replacement Liteon DVD drive.
Still cannot installl.
Get message - ERROR 1628 - Failed to complete installation.
Now am not sure whether the fsult lies with the DVD or with the DVD drive.
Shall take the DVD to a friends place on SAunday to see whether it can be installed on his Samsung DVD drive.
