Dvd Writer wanted

Hi friends.My samsung writer has recently died so I am planning to buy a dvd writer.I went to a computer shop and enquired.The dealer said that Asus dvd writers are good.He offered me a dvd writer for Rs.3k.Is Asus really good or should I look for some another brand.My budget is Rs.3.5K.

ASUS Box Pack DVD writer is around 2.1K incl TAX Kolkata...
Sony Box Pack DVD writer is around 2450 + TAX Kolkata....

Both are good... if u dont have fasination about brand name then u should go for ASUS....
