Default hide contents of this folder


hpw can i enable thos option for folders other than windows, program files and c drive

Can you be please more clear...for hiding any folder or file...right click and check Hide option! What extra do you want to do?

plz clerify the question,u want to hide folder,file or complete drive.......folder or file can b hide wit the properites and also with some smart option and the whole drive can b hide 4m the regedit,......but plz specify what u want exactly to do...

What he wants is - Sometimes when we go in Windows folder or in Program Files folder, we got a message "The contents of this folder/drive r hidden ...." & we click on "Show the contents.....".
So he want to do that for other folders too. (As I guess..)

You need to apply attributes to the file.

In the command prompt type this code,
Code:
Code:
attrib +s +h "filename"
If you want to know how this works, in the cmd window type this,
Code:
attrib/?

Then in the Folder option, you must check the 'Hide protected operating sys files'

That must work i guess.
