BTW , why arent you going for the XFX Geforce 6600GT .? Lots of reviews point it out as the best middle range card offering close to 6800 lineup performance.? 8)

And yes...you can use an 8x card on a 4x slot or a 4x card on a 8x slot. 8)

Yup The 8X Agp Card Will Definetly Work On The 4X Slot But The Full Performance of The Card Will Not BE Utilised As The 8X Does HAve Its Advantages pal So Expect Some Eye Candy On The Games To Fade Off Just A Lil Bit

sri(6:43:03 PM): that is equivalent to Rs.11000 to Rs.11600

satisfaction guarenteed.......GT offers much much higher performance over plain 6600(as with any other series)..But u can always overcloack your 6600 with the right tools n info......

Gainward 6600GT both AGP & PCI-E r out there.But in the case of 6600, only PCI-E is being currently marketed by Gainward.u will have to tell your friend which one u want.....
