Default HP not Printing

My Operating system is Win98 SE. And I use HP 3420 Printer. I installed the printer. I can print a test page from HP software , but not from windows directly. I mean when I got to settings, printers, HP3200, and right click on and clcik print test page , it shows "Windows Unable to print test page"
Please anyone help me...

try this

Uninstall the printer completely
Install the drivers dundled with the printer originally
Install only the drivers and uncheck all the softwares and other utilities[those are very bugging]
I recommend installing the printer by using the advanced option where in u manually give the path in the cd where are the drivers are
try printing any word or text file and voila 'HP is printing' now

and plz if this does the trick do tell us

otherwise ppl owd keep on posting in here....
