Default How can i do this...

guys i want to do a desktop background which displays a count down automatically... eg : lets say i want to make a countdown for the number of days left for christmas...then the desktop background should automatically display the number of days left for the day i specify { 25 th dec in this case } ie it shud display 37 days left today and automatically update and show that 36 days left tomorrow...

PS: it's not that i want to make a countdown for christmas in particular.. but any day that i wish...

can i do it???
if yes then please tell me how???

There are custom countdowns available all over the internet. You can get a Harry Potter counter at MuggleNet.

You can also try browsing through the Yahoo! Widget Gallery. Someone must have made a customisable countdown.
