Cool Access Denied...!!!


1)i got a 20GB internal hd from ma fren(currently in Agartala) in which he had used one of d drive for his program files , doc & settings etc.. But in my pc i cant open his documents and settings.. 'm getting d msg dat , the foler is not accessible. Access is Denied..
these documents consume about 5-6GB.. Is tere any way by which i can see these documents or atleast delete these documents..???!!!

2) there is another file named "hiberfil.sys" which consumes about 300 MB. this file is protected by windows.. i can view it only by unchecking d 'hide protected OS files in Tools-> folder options->view'. wats d use of this file ??? 'll tere be any problem if i delete this .sys file??
help me frenz.....

1. Go to the folder properties, select Security and set Owner to Administrators for the folder and its contents. This will allow you to access it. If you windows xp home, you will have to do this in safe mode.

2. hiberfil.sys is used during hibernation to store settings, data,etc that needs to be restored... Since you are using this in a different computer, that can be deleted without any problem...
