which one is the best tv capture card???

pinaccle,dazzle or pixel view??.......................or anything else?


i heard that pinaccle dominates the rest.................is that true??

which one gives the best picture ,and which one gets the best capture??

i use pinacle, the running quality is like dvd, better than i have seen murcury, at first i regreted my buying decision, cos it has no fm, buyt i can just buy a fm radio for rupee 50

but 1 thing though, recording it, sound quality degradeded a little

I agree with the rest, the Pinnacle cards are very good, the tv tuning and video capture quality are pretty good.

using a pinacle pctv stereo
its just 2 days old
iam loving it
absolutely great video quality
sound quality is good too
well since ive seen thru the market now
i initially wanted to buy the compro
but serached the market coudnt get it
some shop keepers even never heard abt it
all i found was the pinnacle,pixelview,mercury,intex ones
with pinnacle surely dominating the market
for pinnacle i saw only the pctv pro and stereo models the plus model was a rarity
i did research before buying my card
i 1st read the digit march 04 issue tuner cards were reviewed
taking note of these reviews and some net searching
i came down to 2 cards
1) compro tv gold plus
2) pinnacle plus/pro

finally i had made my decisicion on the compro one
but then i came to kow it costed 4000 rs
i had a budget of max 2500
so then finally decided on the pinnacle plus model
wasnt intrested in FM
sourabh my friend above said he had the Pinnacle stereo model
so searched up a bit and found tht
both my beloved compro and pinnacle stereo card had the same tuner chips
the Philips SAA7130
which as said in the digit review gave amazing quality
so said to myself look no further
and got the Pinnacle PCTV Stereo Model for 2350 rs
and "IAM LOVING IT"

well i brot the PCTV STEREO abt 7-8 months ago for 2300 and now techno has brot it for rs 2350

damn!!

i thot prices fall :roll:

and the funniest part is both of them have brot it from lamington road

well but still the pianncle card is really worth it xcept the vision software coz it literally sucks

i use the card with the original drivers and WinDVR/Power VCR
and ofcourse the occasional WMM when everything gets crashed
