bluetooth is a wireless technology used to connect diff deviced together
u can use it as lan .. but its NOT a replacement for LAN
tho it can be used for the purpose ... but its not a replacement for sure
its too slow
goto www.howstuffworks.com and search for bluetooth for more information

well, bluetooth is a technology that is generally and most commonly used medium for transferring data among mobiles in a coverage area of about 25m. Well, u can very well use it for networking but u'll experience a bad data transfer rate among computers.
