Default Need help on Overclocking.....

Hi

I searched the forum and was not able to find this and that is why I am asking it here, so don't get angry.

I have a very VERY old PC. Intel Pentium II 500MHz, 96 MB ram. Is there any possible way to make it a little fast by overclocking? It takes almost 15 minutes for Win XP to boot.

Aditya

Bt. 15 minutes!!!!!!
A tad too mch, btr scan for virues, spyware, adware etc n scan n defrag ur disks. Also reduce the startup programs to complete zero(If possible) n also edit ur services n only keep the necessary ones n dont keep anti-virus n firewalls to run at startup. Use it only when connecting to net.
Hope this may sppeden up ur pc a bit

Again.....I don't think that these mobos will let you OC .....You need a better mobo which is not available for these processors... ...

@Ashu_dps.....

I already have done all that. Many times now.... reason, because it used to take 20 minutes flat to boot up... now the time has gone back to 15 mins.... Actually it's the older one of the 2 PCs I have and I don;t usually use that one.... My mom uses it for internet work.
