I am unable to view hit counter in my site!

i could not make much sense but try to remove <!-- and --> and see. i think that this code is making the whole code a comment to prevent older browsers from seeing the code. but now it's pointless.

Ah!! Of course it won't work Go to http://www.statcounter.com, register there and put the code they give you in the right place. Then the counters will start working Statcounter is free, but you should not have more than 100 visitors per day. If you have more visitors than 100 per day then they won't ask for money, but the counter will not be accurate. Just check on the site what happens.
