i want to decieve my friends by hiding the true capacity of my RAM and my HDD. how can i do it? i want to show them what i want.

unless u send them a screenshot
u can modify the graphic file and send it to them
but u cant fool them otherwise

u can remove one stick of ram and partition ur hdd and show them ... else u cant

and this is completely ridiculous .. i still dun get why u would wanna do something like that

The only reason is he wants to bluff by showing off Awesome Amount of Ram like 2 Gb ram or 2 Gb . Harddisk space he wants to sow like 120 Gb or soo..
Total showoff without spending a Rupee.
hmmm now maybe other reason too ....
Want to show he is using windows xp on 12Mb ram and 400Mb harddisk..
Still first reason seems good enough...!!!!

I would rather want it(specs) to be reduced down to find it(hardware) back in place when i come back from college

Got 512 mb Ram & 80 Gb and when i tell that to anyone..they think that i am crazy...btw...i am a hostler....

you can hide yo hdd but not yo ram...u can use a registry entry like NoDriveType and show the C: and D: and hide the other partitions.
Even sify iway uses the lame protection of not showing c: using this only..8)
