Question Simple procedure to do transfer...

I got new desktop computer at office. I need to transfer the data from old CPU to new one. I have only one monitor.

Both computers are configured for Office LAN and working well. If you have any simple procedure for data transfer from old computer to new, let me know. Data size may be around 15GB. I got one USB file transfer cable Direct Linq) from friend. We don't have Drivers for Windows XP operating system. And its not functioning, reason not able to trace. Does Peer-Peer procedure works out here? I remember it need to keep all the files in shared folder.Am I right? I don't have 2nd monitor to access other CPU. Please suggest me simple procedure in steps.

USB data transfer will take a looooong time .. IMHO the best procedure is to take off the hard disk of the old computer and plug into new one and copy the data directly ..

Just creating a Password protected Network share and copying data over the LAN will do.
