Question File take ages to open


Some file in my PC which are in .cdr(coreldraw) format takes ages to open
they are of just 2-3MB's
even a file of 10mb takes just 30sec to open only some of these particular files takes ages to open
I can't delete these files because they are very important for me
also while opening these files my CPU usages goes to 100%
& tired these file in many other PC's & also in some of my friends PC's
there also it gvie the same prob
So i came to conclusion that these file are corrupt & there is no prob in my PC
i think these files are gone corrupt after opening they show me all the work & data as it is & works fine
only thing is it takes ages to open
pls help.............
wht to do now to solve this.................

I'm not the expert but still would like to help as you haven't got any replies!!
Try copying all the contents of the file in a new one and save it. I'm not sure if this would help.visit Here For help.

thanks for replying
no i cant convert it into any other format their is no option like that
i had taken a full backup of my HDD in some DVD's reformatted, repartitioned it but was of no use
after copying my files again into HDD it gives same headache

Which is your default Image Viewer/editor handling the *CDR files what is the image resolution of that image, Have you tried opening it with Irfan view & converting it to other format
