hi i am satya doing my multimedia applications and i am also intrested in playing latest games,so i am in search of a good graphic card that supports all newer games and my multimedia applications.i have a p4 2.4 ghz prosessor,intel 865 desktop mother board having on slot AGP support,ram of 512 mb.so kindly inform me about the graphic card and its price in detail.i am in bangalore.

If u hav the money go 4 6800GT it's price wud b 24K. Costly?? Then 6800NonUltra for 17K. costly again?? FX 5900XT with 128Mb DDR for Rs 13~15K costly again. radeon 9800pro 4 the same cost. costly again?? Go 4 Radeon 9700pro for 10K, though rare but very good GFX card as it's highly overclockable and shows really good DX 9.0 performance in today's power hungry games ton times better than Radeon 9600XT which wud cost U nearly the same and radeon 9600pro for 8~9K. forgot 2 mention Geforce fX 5700 Ultra blazing gfx card beats 9600XT almost in every benchmark but is behind from Radeon 9700 pro wud cost u 12K.

also remember not to go 4 256Mb GFX card as it won't do any help in 128-bit memory controller cards which is present in 9600pro, 9600XT, 5700Ultra.
