Its basicaly online fraud.
A typical attack usualy starts like yours. You get a innocent looking link to wihch you give out your details and bang, your hacked.

last option is to mail yahoo team directly. I dont think thats very helpful but still you can give it a try.

The site is normal and uses https (secure http)! Neways @nagpurdamunda scan ur system for installed keyloggers or trojans!

One thing more did u accessed the site from college LAN or some private LAN like that??

It is not a phishing site. It is genuine. I think your system is infected by trojans. Or you might have not signed out at cyber cafe and some one else continued your session!

@n2casey, well there are cases!

1. The site http://photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos has 2 "/" slashes before my_photos. That seems suspicious to me! BUt when u actually open the site it opens the photo directory of normal yahoo! So the link that gets opened is normal and OK!!

2. If he (@nagpur bhai) opened the Link from college LAN or some private lan like that, then there's a strong probablity that the site is not genuine and is morphed !! Lesson : Be careful when opening sites from college LAN!

3. There may be a probabilty that he has trojans or keyloggers on his system and keylogger's log being accessed remotely or whateva !

Hacking yahoo,gmail is impossible!! It may be possible if ur a GOD, extremely good and natural in coding! Crackers usually exploit human stupidity to get their accounts!!

I know that! BUt how will u decrypt the md5 passwords and other encryptions that can't be decrypted backwards?? U can only brute force them, but u'll be doomed if try to B.F long passwords! Neways P.M me if u know the way and let me see if I know that already!

@ all my friends ..... i opened this link from my personal computer at my home . i never visit cyber cafes, college lans , etc

and for ur kind information to cross check whether it was phishing attack or not.... i opened that page again and entered my other fake yahoo id there and to ur surprise i lost the second ids password as well

so i lost 2 email ids in 1 days , got it ? now i m 100% sure that it was a phishing attack

now tell ur views?

OK @nagpur bhai, 1 more task u have to do then! Make another yahoo ID, get a knoppix live cd, use it, connect to net from it and then use yahoo id to enter! Then tell, if it gets lost again!
