Default BIOS Help


I cannot boot to my computer. The BIOS POST does not gets executed. The problem occured after removing the battery of the bios for some time and when again plced it it stopped working. I tried replacing battery but did not work. help me immediately as i cannot boot to my system.

u sure abt which side of the battery is facing up???
do u hear a beep after switching it on???
nd what do u see on the screen...ny error message??

no beeps, no error messages. The battery is properly insatlled. It shows that i have NVIDIA TNT2 Card of 32MB and then hangs. Nothing happens after that.

:roll: ...hmm....remove every device except hard drive as primary boot device,RAM,HDD...
remove LAN card if any/modem if any, disconnect ur CD ROM,remove all the cables frm the bak of cabinet except k/board,monitor,power supply..

try going to BIOS....
