Isnt ZoneAlarm Pro only a FireWall with Anti-Spyware.

The AntiVirus version is ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite.

& are you talking about Avast Paid or Free. coz i think ZA ISS is paid version.

==>>Avast free has better detection rate.

ZoneAlarm Pro is for AntiSpyware and Firewall. It doesn't include antivirus. I think you are refering to 'ZoneAlarm Antivirus'.
avast! is better than ZoneAlarm Antivirus. It is very light on system and has good detection rates.
Go for this combination:
Antivirus: avast!(free) or KAV(Paid).
Firewall: ZoneAlarm Pro (disable Antispyware)
AntiSpyware: Counter Spy

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using ZoneAlarm Pro and avast! make sure you disable 'Network Shield' option in avast!. Else there is a conflict between ZoneAlarm Pro firewall and avast! network shield which may slow down the system.

i can advise u to use both. avast cannot act as a firewall. a firewall is essential if u r using the internet quite a lot. i am also using zone alarm with avast and am facing no problems. i think the combination is quite gud.

Simple. The free version of both.

Zone alarm firewall is simply the best but the same cant be said about the antivirus.
And Avast happens to be one of the best antivirus.

So use ZA's firewall and avasts antivirus.
