hey i got a acer aspire5002NWLMi config:
AMD Turion 64ML-30 PROCESSOR
(1MB L2 CACHE,1.6GHz)
60GB HDD
512MM DDR2 RAM
my laptop has started runnin prettty slowly lately dunnno y n wuts hampering its performance...i removed NORTON ANTIVIRUS-2006 and installled ZONEALARM PRO 6.5.7 AND AVAST 4.7...thinkin the lap mite run faster but it stilll runs at the same speed.i got an ext hdd and loaded most of ma music n trash on it freeeing all the drives(there are three part)pls temmme wat should i do???
games like NFSMW aint wrkin it starts but thens starts laggin?n my video memory is shared so it screws up d RAM PERFORMA ALSO

There are several reasons for slowing down of PC.
1.Since you have 512MB RAM, using both ZoneAlarm and avast! is not recommended. Use any one.
2.Minimize start-up programs
3.Defragment your HDD. Diskeeper is a good defragment tool.
4.Use a good Antispyware software like Windows Defender/Counter Spy, and scan entire system.

remove ur temp files
first do "SFC \scannow" (System File Checker)
chkdsk
& Defrag ur harddisk
i think this must solve ur prob
