DVD Writer is not working

Hi,

I have LG DVD Writer. From last one month I cant write any deta DVD with. IT start writeing deta on it and give error after 6% done. this is with every DVD.

Why? What is going wrong? I am using Nero for burning. and cant write 600mb also. while I have 1.5 gb free space on C:

Please help me

i think you need to free out more space

and then first try to burn an image disc with nero and then to on a disc so that you can know if it is a system problem or the fault lies in the DVD writer

i think its d problem wid ur LG writer. better get it serviced..

LG and Samsung...are the worst manufacturer of CD/DVD drives!!

I am also getting a problem with LG DVD writer. I have received a problem is it only writes DVD not CD. I am awaiting to repair problem for 2 months. So I have changed that one to new one. Because, electronic items lifes are not too long depending how we use.

Any CD/DVD Burning Program requires a similar amount of space in C:/ or in whatever partition they are installed for burning the data

For example,when you want to write a DVD,the CD/DVD Burning Program requires space of about 4.5 GB on the C:/ as Temporary Cache
If it doesnt get this,there might be errors in writing a CD/DVD

The second option is to check the CD/DVD writer for any errors
