Dap?

Can anyone tell me what is DAP and how can it increase speed of the net connection?

DAP => Download Accelerator Plus

Its a d/l manager same as Flashget, IDM, FDM, etc.

DAP is a free software thats a piece of junk. You may try Free Download Manager, its a lot better. Like DAP it makes the file into multiple parts and downloads them. I do not know about increasing speeds, but it does resume the download from where you stopped, or incase you get disconnected half way through

There is no actual increase in the download speed but it has the resume feature which allows you to resume broken download links, it also has a cool new feature called something like Always Resume which automatically resumes the broken links without any user intervention required. Nyone aware of similar feature in any other download manager ?

Guys do any other Download Manager has the feature to automatically resume broken downloads without human intervention, I usually initiate the downloads before hitting bed so if the downloads break I can't be up all night to check and resume them.
