Not a good time for taking satellite TV.
Zee has more packages but it asks yout to choose regional pack. If you want both hindi and other regional language channels it will cost you a lot of money. Also not all regional channels are using dish format.

Tata sky has only an introductory offer. Tata sky lacks animax.

If you want only 1 regional language channels or if noone at your home sees channels which show saas bahu serial then go for dish maxi -Rs 300 per month. You will get lots of cartoon/anime channels and hollywood channels.

I have been using the DD direct plus for 2 years because i dont have time to see TV. I shifted to hyderabad from mumbai and havent installed dish here yet since BBC World has become pay channel. Zee smile is a very good channel which is free to air. There are lots of movies and comedy shows shows in zee smile. There is also headlines today and star utsav. the main advantage is its free.

Tata provides less channels. Zee has exclusive channels too.
