Default which course : Target cyber cafe maintainace

hi,

i got an offer from a cyber cafe [here in dubai ] to look after thier system & solve the daily problems they encounter , but i dont have vast knowlege in computer hardware , vat ever the knowlege i am having rt now is from Digit [since jan 05 ] , Internet [since 98 ], so now i need ur guidence in selecting a course 4 a better performance , i just want 2 learn only vat i need 4 the above said purpose , as all the couses are very expensive over here [ as i get money from this partime , then i can go 4 advanced courses], i think it will be better if i tell u vat i know rt now

* installing OS
* adding Add-on Cards

thast all, i never did any course on computer hardware , so please advice me considering all these factors.

i have 3 options infront of me

* learning from a guy who is doing hardware trouble shooting parttime
* spending 2-3 hrs daily in a hardware troubleshooting Shop
* going to an institute [ read here max i can go for 2 months ]

....Ooops i forget : this will be my parttime only [ 3 -4 hrs daily ] , i am already working for another company [ Not related to IT ]

Thanx in advance

u dont need go to the institute or a hardware troubleshooting shop..
all u need is do practical.. get some pc ...dissemble it and assemble it.
u can take help of any A+ hardware book. bursh up yr basics...
and yes digit magazine is handy... get some help with yr friends
and u r done ...
in case u need some help digit forum members are here..
have confidence its very easy ...
if the cyber cafe use linux then u have to do some hardwork ..
installing xp is very easy...
dont waste money going to institute rather buy some books ..
