Problem With Yahoo Messenger.

Hi,
i was using the latest version of Avast Home Edition the other day when i had the problem.The problem is that ever since i have un-installed avast,i am unable to see anything being written in the chat window..

Its completely blank,no words,emoticons are displayed when i write them..
Neither can i see what my frnd is typing...

I am using Yahoo messenger 8,tried to un-install re-install couple of times but of no use..

dude i really think its a prob wi Yahoo Messenger cuz if you see the online support on the site you see quite a few people with the same problem.

guess the only workaround would be to use a not so recent version of Yahoo IM.
