Default How many members have shifted c2d platform..


how many of u have shifted to the core2duo platform
and
how the c2d based system is performing overall.
if possible give yr system rig description and its pricing ,
and from where u have brought it.

like many I am plaing to shift... just waiting for Core 2 Quadro to come out which will make the C2D price fall a little... then will make the switch...

yup same with me , quad core proccy will heavily priced.
but now c2d e6300 is priced at 8900rs and 945 intel original mobo
at 5700 rs(nehru place 3 days before0 , i dont think it will be cheaper more than this ,
any mobos better then intels 946 original mobos.

you're talking like money grows on trees. "how many of you have shifted..."
I bought my AMD athlon 64 3500+, a gig of DDR 400 RAM and Gigabyte mobo for appx 19000 a few months back. Anyone who has bought his PC recently (read within 2 years) isn't going to go for C2D just now. I hope you got my point.

i think u r upset at yr decision .. of buying amd (not u )
but man yr pc specs are great..
i just wanted to know if any members have buyed a c2d rig till now
just as a check .. and have some discussion ..

LOL I'm upset. naah! I'm very happy. I actually wanted to get a X2 but I was blown off by X2 4800+ which was appx 35,000.
I bought this one cuz I knew I won't be buying a multicore anytime soon.
Its just that the thread name is a bit misleading.

I am planning to buy C2D (more like wanting to buy) but am waiting for quad core to come in light so C2d prices drop a bit more.
