best 3d sketch tool?

hey guys!
this is my first thread in some time, so its quite important.
what are the best 3d model softwares?(like SketchUp and AutoCAD)
i prefer sketchup, but it doesn't have enough resources, so can anyone tell me about some other software?
please not 3dsmax, its a little beyond my reach...

If it is out of your reach, stick to google sketch up, or try 3D Canvas. I reckon it has been given by Digit a couple of times in the CD/DVD. Try finding it with the Archive.

Or try the free software Blender. Alternatives to Autocad come in the form of Intellicad packages. There is a free ProgeCAD Lite in this set...

Try FreeCAD. Its a simple open source tool to serve your purpose.
