My java is not uninstalling from the add/remove programs. what to do??

Why do you want to uninstall,it is must.

Maybe he wants to install a higher version of Java (JRE 1.5). Tell me what's the error
message you are getting? I never faced such a problem!! Do one thing. Some program
is still using Java, so it's not allowing you to uninstall it!! Reboot the PC. First thing
you do is - 'Uninstall Java' from 'Add/Remove Programs' Also make sure that no startup
process is using Java!! In that case, disable that service (run 'msconfig' & disable it).
Reboot your PC, uninstall Java now.

I want to unistall it because the version of java i have downloaded isn't compatible with my PC. can anybody tell me the link of downloading java other than java.com because an error comes when i download it from there.

@Pritish, Download Java from here. Choose Java Runtime Environment(JRE) 5.0 Update 9
Click on the 'Download' button. That's all!!

Don't worry download the JGuru mention java and when you install it will overwrite the previous incompatible version
