Longest lasting hardware component
Which has been your longest lasting hardware component?
For me it's the keyboard...lasted seven years and still going strong.
Everything else has been changed once or twice.

Re: Longest lasting hardware component
for me it is the keyboard which is 14 years old
repeat 14 years.
and right now I am typing from the same keyboard.
the keys are still crisp(cherry keys)and still give a great clicking sound
which even a new keyboard does not manages.
My Dad bought it With the 386 computer in 1992,
this keyboard has worked with four different computers(now with P4).
My Dad who is a freelance engineering consultant has used this for his daily work
allmoast 8-10 hours a day.
Still going strong.
