Arrow DVD are not working


I have AMD 2600+ with asus motherbord 512 ram and 80 gb hard disk with windows xp pro . i have to cd rom one is asus cd writer and and LG combo drive from last few days i am facing problem wile writing the cd after opening the nero express i get messange that enable DMA acccess of LG combo drive even if do it it showing me the same messang so i made LG drive as slave and asus as master for few days it was all right but after few days same problem is coming . AT the same time i am not able to play some DVDs and even some new digit DVDs to i can play old digit dvd and some movie DVDs but not all .
allthough writing the cds in both the drive is absalutly fine even after the DMA errror plz help

Right click on my Computer then on properties.
Now in System Properties select Hardware Tab
Now click on Device Manager
Now in Device Manager click on the + sign before IDE/ATA/ATAPI controller
now select the IDE channel in which ur drive is connected and double click on it
Now go to Advance Settings and select "DMA if Avaliable in" Transfer mode.
U r done

Thats the solution for DMA access what about some of dvds are not working what is solution for that
