Can anybody guide me about registry cleaner's because my spiderman is not working and someone suggested a registry cleaner

download the s/w called registry cleaner. its good.

a registry cleaner wont make ur game run ok again. u shud reinstall it again.
btw ccleaner is a good freeware registry, etc cleaner www.ccleaner.com

u can use REGISTRY MECHANIC . THIS WILL REPAIR YOUR REGISTRY .

Registry mechanic is the best.but ccleaner is very close to it also it is free.but it does not defragment registry.

i asked activison about this it said-
You need to delete the registry keys for the game.
1) Click on the Start button > Run and type regedit.
2) Click Registry > Export Registry File.
3) Save it to a place that you will remember. (We are exporting the registry in case something happens to the registry you always have a backup to use).
4) Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Activision\Spiderman
5) Delete the folder Spiderman

but, when i type regedit in the run it says that another program using it?
I found out the regedit file. now it's working

I recomend ccleaner.
you can also try spybots internals check found in the tools menu.

@pritish_kul2: it may be possible to clean out one problem but for the several hundreds you need a cleaner.

frenz , wats the use of cleaning the registry. i heard that cleaning the registry without knowing bout it causes lots of problems..
Actually why do u need to clean the registry??
