Defrag , Scandisk ---Manual or A|_|T{} ?

How ofter you defrag you harddisk and scan it for errors....? Is the process Done Manually or are left to Automatic softwares like ..SystemMechanic , Task Schedular , DiskKeeper Etc...Hate to be bothered for such petty tasks...
Or i believe my system resides in my Harddisk...

i run defragmenter once every 15 days or so and scan disk every month or so....there was no option 2 match this combo so i didnt vote.....

Auto, Diskkeeper defrags automatically if the disk is fragmented, when the PC is idle.

I run scandisk and defrag in once a week with the help of Mindsoft

I defrag my HDD using Norton Speed Disk every month...
I usually start it in the night and when I wake up in the morning ... it's done...
So no waiting game here...

The options in the poll are inadequate so I couldn't vote. I used to defrag almost once every 2-3 month. But since I don't use use Windows that often now, I don't defrag that often. May be once every 5-6 months

djmykey is mad..so dont defrag tht often..tht may damage the hdd life and processor's life..
I defrag only once in 3 months.
