Default oracle uninstallation problem

i am new oracle
i downloaded & installed oracle 10g express edition
i started the installation
after it was completed
it showed on the screen

step 1:creating new database

& then the computer hung
so i had to end the process
now my desktop has an icon Get Started With Oracle Database Express Edition
in the start menu oracle group has been created but the database does not start up
the main problem is that when i start my pc ,in the task manager a number of new processes
are running along with oracle.exe & oracagnt.exe etc &
My pc has become slow
Now i want to uninstall oracle but i cannot as i am not able to find it in the add & remove programs
please help me to uninstall oracle as my pc has become very slow
thank u

hy
I successfully install oracle 10G database and 10 G forms without any problem. Ya oracle.exe and other background files take huge amount of RAM,no doubt. Now what u want. If u want to uninstall Use uninstaller which in include in installer. Just run installer and click remove. OK. and if u want to reinstall then again first uninstall and install. One more thing. It must be needed 512 MB ram other wise it hangs the system. 100+MB needed only for oracle.exe at run time in background

hy,
First click on setup then click on install products button then u see remove button... u can remove from there .This is What i see in my original oracle 10 G DVD, ok i don't know in express editon uninstaller added or not. If not then simply delete the oracle folder from your root directory and program files then delete the registry entry from two places ---
1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ORACLE
2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE

DELETE whole orcle key directly.

before doing that if your SQL*plus run then connect as sysdba and type shutdown immediate. Then delete the folders.
