While In Another Computer With 256 Mb Ram,40 Gb Hdd,p-4(2.26 Ghz) It Shows 248 Mb Of Ram..
Howz Such A Huge Difference???

setting it to 8mb seriously affects ur graphics perfomance. Set it to at least 64 MB or even 128MB for geting the most out of ur onboard graphics chip.

Don't take any tension,64 ram is sharing by onboard chipset.
ya, don't take any tension it's 64 MB ram is shared by the onboard graphics
& u cann't make it to Zero. but if u r not playing any ram sucker games & or not working with the 3D graphics u may reduce it's size (as this option is provided in the BIOS setup).

But I don't think that 256 MB of shared RAM for a onboard graphics will be any useful as It will not take full advantage of it
