Default Torrent

I was downloading a torrent.. which was having a password..
I have forgotten it and I am also unable to find the link where it was hosted ( The pwd was written there). Is there a way to track the link where the torrent was hosted. I have the complete download as well as the torrent

What are you trying to say? How can torrents have password? The password must be that of the rar files which you want to extract.

I know you are lying. No private torrent trackers will have password for the extraction. Only public torrent trackers might have password. You can easily see the tracker site from your torrent client itself. Visit the site for the password. I think you might have downloaded "ppnow" torrents if I'm correct.

^^
Please take time to read what I posted or admit that you don't know how to find the tracker with the torrent file itself.

You can try these password crackers - but 99.95% of the times they don't work. Delete the whole thing you d/led and d/l something that doesn't have password protection. Where did you d/l the torrent file. Sometimes these add password so that ppl d/l the torrent from their site itself.

Well, what he is downloading is his personal matter.

@ cyberzook
There are some dedicated torrent forums for lost passwords. You can try there. I found many passwords from there.

Password-encoded torrents in TorrentSpy are marked by a "lock" sign. You should be prepared before downloading such torrents.

Sir, this is not a paid support forum. No one is obliged to answer you. We're taking our time to respond.

Tell us the tracker url man. Why, after finding that out, even you can go to the place where "it's hosted".

I didn't give those response. Now feel free to negative rep any member who you think spammed here.

Now, you know what file you downloaded, search for it again at Torrent Spy. You'll have the password there. Still if you're not able to find it, then no other option to delete the file and d/l again from another location which doesn't use password to extract.
