Default ISPs

Hi,

Does anyone have any idea about this ISP http://172.16.0.1/ ?

And what do you think about Sify & bharti?

Which ISP you prefer for your broadband needs?

Regards, Rohit

Here in Nagpur DNOP ( Digital Nagpur OnLine Private Ltd )uses that address.
That ip is Bharti's ISP

Sify has lotsof Packet loss as against Bharti . Bharti is prety stable and there are really no Down Times.
Of the two choice I had prefer Bharti . Another thing a a user i had prefer Reliance Boradband as its the only broadband connection where i had continous inflow of data .

Thanks!

I've started using this ISP services. There are no contact numbers etc. on the website. How can i know that the dealer is not charging more than it cost?

I paid Rs. 1500 for 64 kbps dedicated connection but i'm not sure if it's really what i'm getting. The average download speed my bandwidth monitor showing is around 10 kbps (max 43 kbps)

If your 64 kbps connection is unlimmited for Rs 1500
Then the download speed of 10 kbps is ok.

Yes it's unlimited!

I was using primex's connection for the last 2 years and i was getting the speed of 20 to 40 kbps which was great but for the last few months, i was facing a lot of disconnection problems (continuously logging in & logging off of messengers) so i switched the ISP.

My current bharti connection is much stable. sigh!

Regards, Rohit
