Default DVD not working

I have a DVD of HP origin which I created by Nero. It is a data-DVD. After writing is over, I checked and at that time all the files inside it was showing and opening. Thereafter as usual, I deleted those files from my HardDisc. Now whenever I am inserting this DVD into any of my DVD ROM/Writer, the explorer gets hanged. Is there any way to recover those files from the DVD media?(Please DON'T SUGGEST ANY RECOVERY METHOD FROM HARDDISC---this is not possible).

You said that after burning...you verified the data in the dvd...Have you added data in multisession? I faced the similar problem after multisession adding...or DVD may be damaged..

Fortunately, that DVD media was played in another HP DVD writer. The interesting point is that This HP DVD Writer was manufactured in a Liteon factory and marketed by HP.

I have also faced the same problem, but in multi-session. I have already posted about this in another thread. There should be an in depth reply from somebody who is an expert.
