Suggestion on UPS..

Hi all..

I need to get a UPS which has some good backup and warranty..I live in chennai and want to have a good backup cos power cuts are freq..

price doesnt matter..any suggestions..

If u want good backup get one with external batteries and atleast 800VA nd higher. A standard UPS with 20min backup has a battery of bout 7.5AH or 8AH. But might look one with atleast 40 or higher for better backup.
Also whats the max load of the system? or give the complete config. MAybe u need more than 800VA?

Mine is just a basic system..like P4 2.4 Ghz..256 mb ram..80GB HDD..Printer..normal speakers..DVDRW..

Any brand name..like APC or Wipro ??

Got one of APC some 4 yrs ago.. i dont know exact spec...but when i bought it use to give backup to 1 machine for 19 Min..(Company Specs)...Now its giving some 5 min....but still am happy..

coz my frends who bought UPS after me....other brands..have either trashed ...or its givin 30 sec backup...

lil costly..but best..
