So, to use HindiWriter, you’ll need to install complex script support on your computer. On Windows XP, you can do so by going to Control
Panel and opening Regional and Language options applet. On the Language tab, Enable the option of Install files for complex script and
right to left languages. Click on Apply. You may need your XP Cd to complete the installation.

Just download HindiWriter and install it. Now to type in Hindi, just run the program and press Shift Pause.
Hindi keyboard map will be activated and whatever you will type will be converted to Devnagri automatically. It’s a phonetic font so if you
want to write ! , you can do so by typing sh . So if you can type in Hinglish, you can type in Hindi too .. We are using it successfully with
MS Word, Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger too .. And you can write in Hindi on Unicode compliant browsers such as Maxthon,
Firefox or Opera too …

धन्यवाद it_waaznt_me !! ये तो बहुत आसान है! बस थोडे से ही अभ्यास के बाद, मै हिन्दी मे लिख पा रहा हूं!

.....

I did this
1. I just installed the left to right (incl thai) language support
2. Installed Hindi writer... from here thats it..
When I want to use .. just run it .. press Shift+Pause
you are ready .. type like we do in sms

...

Dont we need the fonts etc.?
Still what are the other ways?
( क्या इस्के अलावा और कोइ तरीका है? )

Post Re: How to type & edit letters written in Hindi?

U can use third party softwares, but it is more suitable to use a tranliterator.
Using a tranliterator U can type in hindi without knowing hindi typing.
e.g. if U will type

bahut

it will b converted to

बहुत

automatically.

Just try this link to download a hindi transliterator - 'HindiTrans'.

hey! wait....

There is another software for typing in ANY INDIAN language

It's name is BARAHA. Latest version is Baraha 7.0. U can download it from www.baraha.com

With this, u can type in any indian language even in Notepad, Wordpad & can give filenames in hindi also..

Anywhere u type, it is converted in Hindi, as u type.

Plz try this once....
