Default change the 'registered to'

guys all my office machines which my engg gave me have the windows and office registered to '.' i wanna change this to the company's name .... i know this can b done thru regedt but dont know which entry to edit .... some1 please elaborate

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

In right-side pane, change RegisteredOwner & RegisteredOrganization to the desired one.

But can we change that "Registered To:" to something diff? Like, Owned by or etc... ?

...or u can also use tune-up utilties(system control), aso-windows optimizer, etc to easily change ur registration information...

hkey current user/software/microsoft/office/10.0/common/user info/user name.....
modify the binary data n replace the letters wit ur name.... u may need to kno hex

And also u can edit this:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr ent Version\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products

Under this key, u'll find several keys (based on what u hv installed on ur comp) with the name like, 9040110900063D11C8EF10054038389C, etc.

Under those keys, u'll get InstallProperties key. In right-side pane, change RegOwner & RegCompany to ur desired one.
