Unhappy "+" problems!!!

Hello friends,
Whenever I start my computer and start typing in something, "+" sign starts coming by its own for a number of times. I thought that it might be some sort of prank and tried to track it using avast antivirus , but ended up with no positive results. I am still unable to make out what is causing this problem.
Please help!!! It is urgent.

Yes, check your keyboard. You could've told us in that post if you tried pressing that + key hard or not, as hemant and deepgeek suggested.

usually keys are connected to circuit boards through a rubber .. with a magnetic coating. if that rubber sheet is loose then that magnetic surface may come in contact with the board ... that may be the cause of ur prob!
