im selling a Club3D 9600Non-pro for 6250

hi,
I hav a USED (barely 3mths old ) Club3D 9600 Non-pro 128Mb Card that i can sell for 6250
( free courier to ANYWHERE in India )
I bought it for 7550 , & it has 2yrs - 3mths warranty still left!
The beauty of this card is that as opposed to a "normal" NON-Pro card with 325e/400m , Club3D has been generous enough to use a 9600Pro core( R350) in it & so its clocked at 400/400Mhz.
And thats not the end of it!!
The RAM on it is 2.8ns SAMSUNG( = 550Mhz) , so it is EFFECTIVELY 400/550 Mhz!! Laughing

I dont use it at that speed coz frankly i hav a crappy PSU & secondly I dont need that much power!
I game at 800*600 & at that Res; Farcry & Doom3 ran very smooth!I tried 1024*768 & it ran smooth even then!!
U can run it at 400/550 & u wouldnt even hav Overclocked it, coz its already rated to run at 400/550Mhz !!!
Ppl who hav bought this card & are routinely using it at those Clock speeds, some hav infact OC'ed it to 415/575Mhz!!! Twisted Evil
In case u r interested, do reply bac asap at DELHIBOY1000@yahoo.com
I NEED the money & hav to close the deal by this week...

CHECK OUT THE CARD AT :: http://www.club-3d.com/productshow_v...w=&filter=&p=1

sorry for buttin in but i had to
the 9800 series isnt less than 10k for either version
tough chance for it to be available for 5k in 2 months

the 9600 pro is for 7.8 k now ...
in 2 months that should be a very good option

nokihil plz dont go for the 5 series of nvidia ..
trust me ati kicks @$$ in this segment
9600 pro surpasses either of the 5 series cards in performance !

@grinning devil i knwo ur new here .. so lemme explain
dont make repeat posts ..
since i can see its a mistake
u can use the EDIT button on ur post to add things uve missed ...
and u can use the "X" button to delete ur last post !

u can only delete ur own post if its the last one ...
u can edit any of ur posts
if u edit ur posts ... mention a "[EDIT]" or some sort of indication that ur post was edited so ppl who've already seen ur post know whats different

@raven: U mst b kidding right dude. The 5900/5950 is a price equivalent (even that doesnt stand true since it is priced obscenely @ 15k and 22k) not the performance equivalent. The Nvidia alt for the 9800pro is the 6600GT which scores ahead of it due to the higher clocks and a new architecture.

just playing ard
@icecoolz i gave up posting those images
apparently its offending ( i knew that ... but more and more ppl are using it now )
besides guys help the "THREAD STARTER" ... poor guy PM'd me !!

my advice : listen to these guys ... they know what they are talkin abt ( blade_runner and icecoolz ... seems he knows his stuff ... seen a couple of hist posts )

my 2 bits : 5700 le ??
the 5 series from nvidea sux ....
9600 pro wouldve been a gr8 choice .. even the NP
yes there are differences between the different versions ( thats y we HAVE different versions )

u can overclock ur graphics card from ur graphics card properties ... from display properties
since u have an nvidia card ull need coolbits installed on ur system ... just a lil reg tweak required to install it

Code:
goto start => run => regedit.exe
navigate to HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Nvidia\Global\NVTweak
on the right side make a new DWORD value called 'Coolbits' and assign the value '3' to it
now in ur GPU properties they'll be a new tab called "clock frequencies"

overclocking .. is not advisable and is not for everyone
if u cant carry it and take care of it ... DONT OVERCLOCK it
always overclock in small increments ... maybe say ... 10mhz steps ?
run a game or a benchmarkin software like 3dmarks
if texture seems to be tearin .... ur gpu mem is clocked very high
if game hangs ... ur core mem is too high
reduce them !
DONT mess with the voltage settings as ur still a novice
ull get a fried card

last but not least go here for doom 3 level cheats

I want to upgrade my graphics card. Presently i have GeForce 4 MX 440.
My budget is Rs. 6000. My motherboard is ASUS A7V8X-X which has 8X AGP slot. I have 512 MB DDR266 RAM, AMD Athlon XP 2400+. Which graphics card should i go for. Also which brand is better ATI or NVIDIA? From what i read in other forums i believe ATI is better. Please also quote the price of the graphics card.

Thanks for the support Sourabh. Truly one wants to get a card which offers the maximum features for the money one pays. Hence i am posting where ever possible to maximize the inputs and thus make me able to come to some decision. I believe i would go for a Raedon 9600 non pro.
Is it much better that GeForce 4 MX 440 that i have. Can i play DOOM 3 and high settings using Raedon 9600 non pro? Also what is the price of the PRO and XT version?

u cant play on high settings in doom3 with 9600np

u wod have to satisfy urself in 800x600 mode in these games

gf4 mx440 -->9600 np aint much of a update

only thing ull achieve is dx9 compatibility

atleast withing ur budget consider a 9600 pro or 5700 ultra

So you are telling that it is not worth investin 6k for 9600np when i already have gf4 mx440. Why wouldnt it improve performance when gf4 mx440 has only 64 MB of RAM and 9600 np has 128 MB RAM?

Also you have suggested to go for 9600 pro or 5700 ultra. Will it come with in my budget. Now my budget is 7k (and it is streched to limits). Will it be worth it?
