There's no point in backing up Zone Alarm's Anti SpyWare Definition files.
that AntiSpyware is complete waste. ZoneAlarm does its job very well as a FIREWALL, but not as a Spyware fighter.
Disable the Anti-Spyware in ZoneAlarm & use SpyBot Search & Destroy, its free & a LOT Better.

or here

& there's lot more AntiSpyware S/W here.http://www.download.com/Adware-Spywa...0.html?tag=dir

I do use Spybot SND and Ad aware..but incidentally ZA has caught a few spyware that the two others have missed...moreover the settings are important from the point of blocking of spy sites that ZA does.

Well i didn't notice this improvement in ZA, (i had disabled it for a long time).
It caught 7 Spywares today, which were ofcourse left undetected by SpyBot.

Anyways @serendipiti, i think the Updates are stored here

C:\WINDOWS\system32\ZoneLabs\Updates
