hi,
many DVD writer is available in the market...
i want to buy the best one..can anyone suggest??
i've heard tha DVD writer of MSI comes with 3 yrs warranty..if it so is it worth buying that??

i'pve got a Sony DRU 820A , build quality is solid , n burn time is good no probs burning dvd's at 16X .

I'm using sony for nearly a year ,never gotta any problem till now.

i use a lite-on dvd writer & it hasn't given me any problems so far...

arhem, apart from Sony 810/820 all older sony dvd rws are Lite on drives in fact, just rebadged as Sony and sold...

I will use it basically for backing-up purpose.
I have done a thorough research and everyone has smashed samsung wriiters..
so, lite-on/lg/benq which one??
