It's very simple!! First select the text & pictures you want to print in a Web Browser.
Press 'Ctrl + C',copy , Open Microsoft Word , press 'Ctrl + V' (paste) it. Save the file
& do a little bit of formatting & print it!! You can also apply the same procedure for
any documents.

When you see the print dialog box, look for the options what to print (there is one option to print all that is set as default, one for a set of pages, and in many cases depending on the printer, there is also one for selection though it will be disabled if you havent selected anything)

Alternative long method on opera.

right click on the page> select source. [or Ctr F3]
delete what ever you don't want to print (hopefully you can read HTML). Save. Open saved doc. print.

I do this sometimes bcoz opera doesn't allow me to copy complex tables and formatting.

Alternatively if you cant read HTML do this:
right click on the page> select source. [or Ctr F3]
select all [Ctr + A]
Copy>paste in front-page's HTML (view) tab.[or equivalent editor]
go to normal view>delete what ever you don't want> print.

off topic: where there is a will there is a way and several dumb methods .
