Default help wanted for buying core2duo pc

hi there guys!!
i have decided to invest in a new computer based around the new core2duo chipse.Due to the fact that i live in hanoi and i'm pretty new here,it was kinda hard for me to actually find a good dealer for performance computers.
I was able to find a bundle of shops here,and i decided to go for the following specification:
processor=intel core2duo e6400 2.13ghz $275=rs.12375
mobo====gigabyte 81945pl-s3 $114=rs.5130
HDD=====seagate 300gb SATA $138=rs.6210
RAM=====DDRII 667mhz 1gbX2 $196=rs.8820
PCI-E====GigabyteFX7600GT $238=rs.10710
DVD-RW==ASUS $70 =rs.3150
Monitor==LG LCD TFT 17" $218=rs. 9810
they also agreed to give me a pear of seinheisser headphones and a 1gb flash drive for free
the total cost is $1154=RS.51930
Am i losing out somewhere?
do these parts cost less in india?
or should i just buy an AMD64x2 4400+ configuration instead?(they cost the same)
finally,should i just wait for a fewmonths and then buy a better configuration?

Yeah, if you wait for few more months , the price of 'Core 2 Duo' will naturally come
down!!
