Hi..

Whenevr i open a .mp3 link to download in firefox 1.0.3, it opens a window and in that a "Q" symbol is written and then a bar comes which downloads the song..

Howevr when i right click to save it, the song is saved in mov format n not in mp3.. What cud b the reason behind this...

This is happening wid all files ie mp3 and wav... All these files r saved in mov format which only QUICK TIME PLAYER can play n not in their own format.. I m havein a very big prob due to this..

Also i have installed K-Lite Mega Codec pack that came wid DIGIT CD.. Is this the reason behind the above prob..

Please help.. I wanna save files in mp3 or wav only n not in mov.. Please help..

It might happen that the song is really in .mov format.
And if u want to directly save MP3 files instead of playing them in firefox then open Firefox options and in "Filetypes" section, u can set firefox to save MP3 files...
