go for the fx5600. Dont be fooled by the 256 MB. The fx5200 doesnt even take advantage of it. And also the fx5200 is a old card. DX7 based I think. So if its those 2 then go for the fx5600. Also have a look at the Raedon 9600 standard. Its around 6k

Hey rock!
according to nvidia fx5200 falls in "mainsrtream" category
whereas 5600/5700 etc fall under "performance" category..
its like a diff between maruti 800 nd alto...both r small size segment cars...
nd both will fulfill the task of taking u to destination...
but alto will provide a lil more "performance" as compared to maruti 800
if u wanna experience all the "bells nd whistles" or according to u "eye candy" stuff turned on then go for any card from their performance series.....

Dude , i suggest u go for Radeon 9600. FX series r poor shader performers n truly a crap.
Go for Club 3d 9600 (n pro)-7k
Club 3d 9600 pro- 8.5k
Club 3d 9600xt-9.5k
The prices r in mumbai!!!

hey pal wats your budget?
in general radeon cards r better for most of the games barrin a few new ones tweaked to run better on geforce.
if your budget allows,go for radeon 9600/pro/xt.
if u r particular about gettin geforce, consider 5600 or anything above it only.dont go for 5200.

9600PRO gives higher performance than 5700ultra in all the reviews i read
except in those games designed to run better on geforce cards like doom3(but here also the margin is not so high)the qn is r u willin 2 shell out 5k for a 15% performance boost...

the 5xxx series is now obsolete. Go for a card in the 6xxx series. Eg GeForce 6600 etc. If the shops don't have it yet, Go for the Fx5700 or the Fx5900 Xt. Between the two, I recomend the Fx5900XT.
Or, You could go for the Ati x300 or x700 cards.
