Exclamation Registry Watcher .


Well is there any program that runs in the background logs access to your windows registry with all the information that which key was accessed , etc .

if there is then plese tell me .

regmon is great !

there r others like active registry monitor http://www.snapfiles.com/get/aregmon.html
or registry prot http://www.pcsoftland.com/utilities/...gistryprot.htm

in fact even adaware's ad-watch or spybot's teatimer monitor ur registry.

Regmon is very good. You can also try other such softwares like
Active Registry Monitor
RegistryProt.
Registry Clean Pro
PC Tools & Utilities
Yeah, even SpyBot monitors your registry!!

well i use freeware too , but i made a registry key for the alexa toolbar so that i could download from megaupload without installing the toolbar . I know that the trick is already knows but i wanted to do it myself

guys i havent formatted my PC since 2003, and since then i have installed and uninstalled a number of softwares , when i go thru my registry using regedit , i can find number of registry entries of the softwares which i have uninstalled long ago, i even tried many registry cleaners but they were of no use...

can u tell me ne software which can help me to remove them...

well yup , use CCleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/ it's free .

otherwise you can use Tune Up Utilities 2006 , it's very good , especially the registry defragmentor
